Cassie is leaving on June 6 from the Transition Unit. Cassie is a very fun girl and sweet and caring. I’m so happy for her she has been very dedicated and tried her hardest. She has accomplished what she set out to do and I am very proud of her. I hope the best for her when she leaves and I think that she will do fantastic! Good work Cassie I will miss you!

I was listening to this song by Rihanna called Take a Bow. I really enjoy this song, because it talks about how you give your boyfriend a million chances and every time he takes it for granted. In student council we’ve recently been talking about rewards for bingo.
We came up with a few like 3 day clothing passes and swimming.
We are also about to auction off baskets full of different things.
They include a coffee basket, a chocolate basket, a camping basket and more.

I think that the uniforms are the worst part of Artec day treatment. They make us look like we are dull and they make it seem like we have no personality. I think that we need to have at least a little bit of color.

My opinion is what I think about artec’s no outside contact rule. I just think that it should be there for some people, but when you and that other person are trying to help each other with stuff it's ok if they see each other, that’s just my opinion. There are too many rules here at artec that don’t even need to be here. Don’t get me wrong, most of the rules should be here, but it’s just some of them. Cuz I understand that people have certain issues in their life and that’s why there are most of these rules. And the no relationship rule is one of these rules that I don’t like, because if you love someone and you care about them so much and they feel the same way about you also and you want to make their life better and succeed too, people should be able to help, but that’s just my opinion.

My opinion is that we should be able to wear our own clothes. I do not like the gray uniform because they are hard to find. My mom does not like coming to therapy every week and neither do I. I also don’t like the time we have to wake up nor the location of Artec. I also don’t like the white vans because they are hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

Movie review: 10,000 b. c.
I went and saw the movie 10,000 B.C. and I thought that the movie was great up until the end where the girl dies and the old lady dies. But as the old woman breathes her last breath she brings the girl back to life. But I also think the director has a trade mark with the hero and the “god”, the hero always throws the spear at the “god” and the god dies, or is injured in some way. But I still think that the movie was pretty good none the less.

Kayne and Lynch Dead Men
This game is a real easy game. You go around on missions like the ones on Call of Duty 4. You are Kayne and if you die, one of your partners can stab your adrenaline stick. I beat this game like a week after I got to my new foster home. So you should go out and buy this kick butt game.

Teach Me Something
I would love to build a 67’ Chevy Camero. At first you would have to begin with the body. First you would take the whole body off the frame then you would look for cancered spots or any cancer. Usually the cancer is underneath the windshield or on the bottom of the doors on the rocker panels also the floorboard and the inside edges of the trunk and right above the wheel well on the fender. Then you sand the cancer boils out and you put bondo on the spots you sanded. You make it as smooth as possible so it is even with the rest of the paint and metal. If it is a cancered out spot you cut a square out around the cancered spot and then you take a new piece of metal and tackweld it in the spot where you cut out the bad spot. Then you grind the weld down even with the metal then you put a little bit of bondo on it. Then sand it smooth, then if the car is all sanded down and smooth and there is no cancer and no dents, no dings or nothing like that on the body. Then you will put primer on it that helps the paint stick better so it does not peel. Then you put a clear coat of paint on and then it is done, but you have to make sure every thing dries before you move on.

Who’s leaving
Shelby R. P is leaving Artec this Tuseday. She is going to be 18 this weekend and she will be going to the Alliance House. It’s for adults and they help you with your life. Like get a job and helping you manage your position etc. It is not a school or a program or therapeutic setting, it’s just a place to help adults with their jobs. If you want to miss a day you can stay home if you want to go you can go. It’s really your choice if you want to go or not. How does she feel about it? Well, Shelby is very happy about the whole thing, because she hates artec. But she will miss it… she has so many friends here. It was fun while it lasted…she said. But she has done so well. She will be a level 3 on Thursday. We are proud of you Shelby and good luck.
Grand Theft Auto!
Grand Theft Auto is the stupidest game I ever heard of. It is also addictive and you should not play it. I think we should destroy the video game. Once I started playing the game I got used to it. Then my mom took it and threw it away, because she saw it was becoming addictive to me. That’s why we should destroy the video games. In fact we should destroy all video games.

BlINK-182
Blink 182 started in Poway, California and that is located in Southern California.
I lived in the OC and San Diego for pretty much my whole life. I lived in other place’s in LA when we were deciding where I would live. Originally the band was only named Blink, but then one day they decided to change it to Blink-182. Blink182 came out as one of those local punk bands that had a dream to become big and the thing that I like most about them is the fact that the lyrics that they put into songs are amazing and a lot of it relates to me. Later on in 2005 Blink 182 broke up and Tom went to Angels And Airwaves and Travis and Mark went to +44. Angels And Airwaves is also coming to 2008 Warp Tour at the Utah State Fair Grounds. Out of the two bands they made I am more of a fan of Angels And Airwaves than +44 because the fact that Tom thinks his music can save the world, but the sad thing is I think that Tom has lost his mind a little because of the Break up of Blink-182. Mark, I was watching an interview and he was saying the main reason why they broke up is because of Tom being a jerk.

I have a lot of questions but little answers. Why can’t we walk home alone? Having people to back you up. Why does everyone have to hate? Fighting for no reason. Fighting a kid because he’s a different cause. What makes the difference between you? Would it be different if you were the one getting jumped? Why does the world have to be corrupt everywhere I go? Cops arrested the poor. People fighting over something you claim. People getting killed every day. Accidents happen for no reason. If you were doing what you were supposed to do, then maybe someone wouldn’t die on accident. Why does life have to be so hard? Why is there too many struggles? Why do the people commit suicide? Why can’t everyone get along for once? Not hating one another. Live in a world of peace. But it’s never going to be like that.

I watched Alvin and the Chipmunks this last weekend. This movie is so cute. The movie is about three little chipmunks. It starts out as the tree that they live in gets cut down and put into a building and is used for a Christmas tree. Well, this is where a guy named Dave is because he records his own music and he was there getting his song listened to. Well, his song wasn’t good enough so he left. Well, the three chipmunks jump in his bag that he has. They all go to his house and soon Dave hears and kicks them out, but they start to sing and he makes a deal with them to sing for him and he would write the songs. All of this happens, but Dave is really hard on them and a bunch of stuff happens after. I will leave you to watch the movie and see what happens next.

Student Council has three activities\ planned. They are a haunted house, a dance, or a corn maze.
The last meeting they had was on October 6, 2008 and they think that those activities on the top and that’s it.
The day the haunted house, dance, or a corn maze will be before the end of October.
The students think that the dance should go on instead of leaving artec and to have the dance at artec. They think it would be a lot better to have it here.
